The Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association (BUEA) Business Enhancement Scholarship is here to support your growth. Thank you for applying! This scholarship helps cover costs for economic development classes, business workshops, professional organization membership dues, or conference registration fees—for you or your employees.
How to apply

BUEZ Verification
Applicants must provide documentation that they are an Enterprise Zone resident. Acceptable documentation includes a copy of a valid driver’s license, current rental agreement, or latest utility bill.

Applicant Requirements
Applicants must own a business or non-profit within the Zone that has operated for at least 12 months.

Funding conditions
The scholarship may be used to pay for economic development classes, business workshops, professional organization membership dues, or conference registration fees for the business owner or any business employee.
Applications must be received at least one month before the start of the classes or activity being paid for with the scholarship.
After the application is completed, BUEA staff will reach out to the Applicant requesting proof of payment for the course, workshop, dues, or registration fees, or an invoice from the organization conducting the training if you would like the BUEA to pay the organization operating the activity directly.
