Recreation Scholarship Program
Bloomington Parks Foundation seeks and receives contributions from individuals, social groups, clubs, businesses, and service organizations to assist in providing scholarships for youth enabling them opportunities to participate in recreation programs.
Need is the primary criterion upon which scholarships are considered. Accepted participants are expected to pay their portion of the program fee at the time of registration. No full scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships are not guaranteed.
Water Assistance Program
Active City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) customers may be eligible for assistance with water bills. Within any 5 month period, CBU can pay for the first 2 months.
Pools Fee Waiver
Any City of Bloomington, Indiana resident may request a waiver of fees for admission to Bryan
Park Pool or Mills Pool. Federal Office of Management and Budget's guidelines of 150% (changed to 175%)poverty level are used to determine eligibility. Immediate family members only may be included in the fee waiver application. Immediate family members include mother, father, or legal guardian and their children who are under the age of 17 yrs. and living in the same household.Computer Surplus
The City of Bloomington replaces one-fifth to one-fourth of computer equipment each year to keep up with new technology. This equipment is donated to 501C3 Non-For-Profit organizations.
